Why RealEye™?

Each year, more than half the cancer patients worldwide are treated with radiation therapy. In the USA alone, that totals over one million people annually.

Today, radiation treatments are delivered largely by linear accelerator (LINAC) systems. Unfortunately, while this treatment kills cancer cells, it often damages healthy tissue as well. Internal organs frequently move during normal bodily functions like digestion, respiration, coughing and involuntary muscle movements.

A major challenge in the current methods is the tracking of the movement of tumors during radiation sessions or throughout the entire treatment period. Navotek's RealEye™ system offers the ideal solution. Coupling trackable fiducial tracers with a unique sensor technology, the system is designed to allow physicians to safely and accurately reach their targets, in a cost-effective manner.

RealEyeTM is a patient positioning and monitoring system for high precision radiation therapy.

RealEyeTM is designed to enable monitoring of target location throughout radiation therapy, ensuring precise treatment and minimizing the risk of damage to healthy tissue.

RealEye'sTM unique array of detectors is designed to enable a single tracer to provide complete, reliable 4D information.

The first version of the RealEyeTM system is optimized for use in prostate radiotherapy.
